The International Foundation for Erotic Arts and Literature (F.I.N.A.L.E.)
Is a non-profit-making cultural institution established on 12 December 1996 at Lausanne, in accordance with articles eighty et seq. of the Swiss Common Law. The object of the Foundation is to bring together creations inspired by eroticism in the form of writings, of works of art, of objects and on various supports. The Foundation aims at being a documentation and conservation centre for erotic expressions and lovers' behaviours.
F.I.N.A.L.E. embodies:
- a library of over ten thousand books (novel, narrative, poetry, photography, comic strip, treatise...)
- a collection of over two thousand erotic ex libris - a collection of manuscripts
- a collection of pictures - a documentation centre F.I.N.A.L.E. intends:
- to constitute a living patrimony covering erotic creations
- to arrange symposia
- to present exhibitions
- to organise study tours
- to support studies, to publish

- donate works of art (paintings, engravings, sculptures...)
